Working in a medium sized engineering organization I am trying to introduce a short safety induction for visitors and external workers that perform work on the premises from time to time. The induction must be brief, yet thorough enough to comply with the site specific requirements. and our duty of care to contractors and visitors to the site. Does anyone have a short induction process they would like to share

I have seen a couple of different approaches to this. One was an A4 size pad with the company site rules on it and a signature line on the top which was perforated. Visitors and short term workers/delivery drivers were required to read the rules, sign the top and then rip the site rules from the bottom and keep with them while on site as it had the emergency evacuation map on the back.

I am sure there are plenty of other ideas but maybe these will give you some ideas on where to start.
